Tesla womens

Koga Miyata’s new Tesla electric bikes are the most discreet and tidy bikes I’ve ever seen - the battery is integrated into the down tube of the frame, keeping it well tucked away and keeping the centre-of-gravity low as well. The motor is a rear hub motor, and a very smart handlebar display shows you the state of the battery and lots of other useful info. Both womens and mens frames are available.

For 2009, there are now three Tesla models - the original Tesla, now with a lower step-over frame, the Tesla RE with removeable battery, and the Tesla S special edition with very high specification components.

The Tesla uses a NiMH battery and is a Pedelec system - there’s no throttle on the handlebar, it just monitors your pedalling, and helps when you need it, so it’s very simple to get-on-and-go. 21 gears are fitted to let you pedal on almost any terrain, suspension forks and seatpost make it comfy, and being Koga it is (of course) equipped with lighting, guards, stand, rack and lots of other extras.
